About Taos Veterinary Clinic

For over 45 years, has been a cornerstone of the northern New Mexico community, providing dedicated care for small animal pets (primarily serving Dogs and Cats). Founded in 1978 by Dr. Ted Schupbach, our practice combines decades of experience with a deep commitment to the well-being of Taos’s four-legged residents. 

• Preventative & Wellness Care: Routine wellness exams, core vaccinations (including Rabies and DHPP), and parasite prevention.
• Advanced Diagnostics: In-house digital radiography (X-rays) and ultrasound for rapid, accurate results.
• Surgical Services: A wide range of procedures, including routine spay and neuter surgeries. 
• Urgent & Emergency Care: Triage and stabilization for critical cases during our regular business hours. 

We operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, by appointment. While we are closed on weekends, we provide clear instructions for after-hours emergencies via our main line at (575) 758-7310.
